Written Pieces of Work

From my COMM260W to Onward State to Storytelling courses, I have had the incredible opportunity to work on pieces that I can call my own. Interviewing people has become my favorite part of journalism because of the relationships and trust I build throughout communities.

Being a journalist is hard, but that's what makes it worth it. It is our job to seek truth and report it, minimize harm, act independently, and be accountable.

I am extremely honored to create feature pieces for individuals that have stories to share. Not only that, but serving the public with newsworthy content is what journalism is all about. Check out my pieces on the provided links.

Video Packages

I had the chance to work with Professor Ann Kuskowski in COMM465 and Mila Sanina in COMM481 to complete video assignments and projects. This experience has been the most beneficial because of the techniques I have learned on and off the camera.

Adobe Premiere Pro is my new best friend. From transitions to editing skills, I have become advanced in putting together a story. Post-production is one of my favorite parts of piecing together a story.

I love being behind the camera, but I am a fan of being in front of it. Being a host for 46LIVE has introduced new conversational and interviewing skills when put under pressure. I look forward to finding out what else I can experience on camera. To view my videos, click here or on the links provided.

Radio Productions

Radio was the first introduction I had aside from written journalism. There is a hidden skill with radio production, as Adobe Audition entered my life quickly. It is full of fast-paced, accurate, and timely interviews.

When in COMM360, students would run newscasts every Wednesday with an entire rundown. This experience showed me that this was the world I wanted to work in. From gathering stories, writing scripts, and piecing together our show, I wanted to do more.

I had the chance to produce and anchor two shows, as well as produce an entire feature on pandemic burnout. If you would like to listen to my content, check out the links provided.
