Welcome, I'm Larkin!

Hi, everyone! My name is Larkin Richards and I am a broadcast journalism graduate from The Pennsylvania State University. During my time as a student, I was a feature writer for Onward State, the social media producer for 46LIVE, a website chair for the Association for Women in Sports Media, a 2022 Steele Intern for the National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum, and more! I am passionate about telling people's stories and providing voices to all. Currently, I am the Public Relations and Marketing Manager for Special Olympics Pennsylvania. 

 

Not only do I love writing, but I also love videography. Videography and photography bring a new storytelling element to the table. I love being creative, but I also know the right time to report professionally and serve the public and audience as necessary. Give me a camera, and I can get to work.

Social media is a place where all audiences can gather and connect. In the communications industry, this is a growing concept day after day. I am so excited to be a part of this revolutionary connection communities can turn to. Working in the sports industry has shown me just how one-of-a-kind social media can be for organizations and their mission.
